Poem -
Where is my next poem
I close my eyes and looked
Out in my mind to find
My next poem all I could see
Was a field of grass
Blowing in the wind
I could feel the rain
And a cold wind
On my face as I stand
In this place of my mind
I screamed outĀ
Where is my next poem
Not a word did I hear
Thatās what I fear
I try to hold back the tear
In my eyeĀ
Far off in the distance
I could see a light
I ran to it with hope in my heart!!!!
But the light was so bright
I couldnāt see beyond the light
I screamed where is my next poem
All I heard was an echo
Then I open my eyes
And right there!! is
Where my next poem isĀ
So I danced with joy
For I found my next poem.

Beautifully penned Greg, loved the use of nature as the imagery for this piece. You painted in the readers minds eye perfectly that sensation of feeling lost and then finding hope. I hope all is well for youĀ
