Where oh where is sleep
Where oh where is sleep
Tonight I lay here all alone
Watching the clock go
Tick tick tick. HopeÂ
I don’t get sick
Where oh, where
Could you be
Where oh where is
Sleep tonight I looked
Out the window hoping
You would come back
Where oh where could
You be it’s getting late
It may be my fate soon
Where oh where is
Sleep tonight
Where oh where is
Sleep tonight i
Search the world over
Couldn’t find you And
Then you met another
And you were goneÂ
And I was all alone again
Waiting for sleep to come home
Where oh where could you be
Where oh where is sleep tonight.

Another barnstormer of a write Greg that touches base with this reader and lately.
With that disco car at full volume at 3 A.M in the morning parked across the road
For it hard as hell to get to sleep when you want to, especially if you have a ticking clock.
It may as well be a time bomb waiting to go off or Chinese water torture.
And the trick is not to count sheep, not on your nelly, the trick is to relax your body slowly from your toes to ankles to knees and gradually work your way up.
Thanks for sharing a cracking write here Greg for it comes to us all.
Thank you ShaunÂ
I was inspired to write this poem
by another writer who was writing the same thing, so I had to write it. Thank you for your support means a lot to me. I hope your daughter likes his poem
Greg my daughter loved reading your latest book of Christmas just gone and now owns two by you.
And the little lady is a most proud and contented one .Â
I believe there is third one in you for you are nature's truest observer on here, among many more themes you put into words, let alone searching for sleep.
And when your third book is published, she'll be more than pleased to know.
See and read you soon Greg and have time off next week to visit your older posts and thanks Greg for all the good you generously offer to members on this site.đź‘Ť
