Where's the Catch?

We’ve lost half our clothes
We kiss all over
We breathe thru the nose
Till the breath is lost
And everything’s rosy
Every graze frozen 
Snow on the window unit

You used your power
And I used my wit
To tell each other
That this was it
The lies we tell 
To prevent regret
But what we forget
Is the catch still stands

I don’t know you

But I’ll pretend that I do
And get hurt again
I thought I could
Let it all blow by
But now the thought
Makes my throat run dry

But where’s the catch? 

There must be one later-
Judging from my past
