WHERE'S THE MAGIC IN YOUR LIFE?

After an incantation, I drew out a carnation,
I'd cut you in half but it was just an illusion,
water in the jug turned into coke and whiskey,
staying immersed in the tank was too damn risky.

Now, everything was wonderful, Frank said: 'I'll pretend,'
the trouble was he had nothing left at the end;
so, I'm very clever - tell us the secret of existence,
one answer is simple - keep your organs at a distance.

Another is to purely rid yourself of intransigence,
never mind tolerance, there are limits to endurance,
someone said, 'Stop using big words,' if I use less than five
it's four letter and I'm reduced to using a muff dive.

My moments are catalogued in the corners of my mind,
the memories are there, whenever I wish to find.
