White cross

Crucifix 
 Upon the mount 
   Jesus 
      Why 
       Upon this earth
In a night sky 
   Of stars glisten 
  Cross  
     Beautiful cross 
  Upon the earth souls
    The sound of nothing 
 Of sleep 
     Life 
       A heart beat 
   Death 
      White cross 
Up on the mount 
   White stars glisten 
  In a pitch black sky 
  Dying to live 
     And living a death 
  A human death 
       For the people of the earth
