White Noise

Brain malfunction error – No. 011

White Noise

Knight to E6.
Sweat off my face.
The children laugh.
A cute smile from across the room.

Pawn to B4.
Bull through my problems.
They called my name.
But no one wants to talk.

But.
If.
Why.
Please.

Just.
No.
Insecure.
Alone.

Straw on camel’s back.
A disappointing lack.
A history fact.
A pointless act.

Crackle.
Flicker.
Crackle.
Flicker.

No Signal.
Loud with no picture.
Emotionless.
Data overload.

Just white noise.
The Fish of the Sea.

Being Me

This, to me, speaks of a busy mind and busy person with, perhaps, too many conflicting thoughts that make each day something to get through... And don't we all know what that is like! Love your references to the game of chess, life is like that x

Hi Tina, that's so true! I'm glad I'm not the only one who sometimes feels this way. Thanks so much for you kind comment. All the best and kind regards. The Fish of the Sea.
