Who am I to be and when will I become it?

Who am I to be

When I can’t be myself?

Who am I to be

When everyone is judgmental?

Who am I to be

When I don’t know my purpose?

Who am I to be

When life moves slower than a snail?

Who am I to be

When untamable obstacles are thrown my way?

Who am I to be

When I can’t make a soul proud?

Who am I to be

When my head is full of doubts?

Who am I to be

When life gets so hard, I lose focus?

I am to be

Strong, confident, faithful, and happy,

I am to be the girl I’m destined to be

Because when life throws curves,

There’s always something I can throw back harder.

I am to be

The girl that proves people wrong

When they least expect I can make a turn around.

So I ask,

Who am I to be and when will I become it?
