Poem -

Who are you?

Who are you?

Look on the outside

A mask, a shadow, a piece of what you are

Inside, a range of personalities

Mountains stretching far

All weighted, unsated

Needing you for support

Every piece of you wanting more

The laughs are balloons

The beating's iron

The cruelty's the oil

Alcohol's the fire

But iron won't burn

Only grow hotter

It will burn you, sear you, change you, mar you

But let your hardships deepen you

Not define you
