~~Who Can Understand the Eagle?

The flight of an eagle takes me
From the ordinary traffic of the day
Soaring above the tallest trees
floating like a zeppelin
On the upward surging wind
My longing spirit release, and ascend
To snow covered mountains, moonbeams
Pulsing on the swells of mighty oceans
Still I faintly comprehend, this freedom;
A drawn curtain is my viewing, and
All to do is stare from a distance
With dreams of the endless possibilities
Existing in the movements and ways
Of this graceful master of the open air

Hey sis. Thank you for lovely comment, nature poems are my favorite actually, okay I do like the 'dirty ones' too, :D but not all the time, only when inspirations overpowers me... yeah enjoyed writing this, I've done a few poems in the past on eagles actually, they are fascinating creatures; have you read about how they teach their young ones to fly? It's fascinating. So glad you liked this one my friend, honoring
Hey Mamma Jamma!!.........what's wrong brother?..........this didn't feel like my friend Curtis Longstreet.........as though you were elsewhere as you wrote or something.........who knows........maybe I'm just having a bad day..............kisses my friend............T xx
I hope you're not having a bad day T....I love eagles brother, they fill me with a certain wonder, my resolution this year is to enjoy more of the outdoors; when it warms up lol.....I find nature inspiring....thanks for reading bye the way, although it sounds like you didn't like the thing, sorry, but some of them will be flat, I get bored writing the same thing over and over, and I'm getting a great deal of satisfaction reading these days ...appreciate your honest opinion, my brother; nothing wrong with that I'm here to learn, and get better so critique is always welcome, and especially from you ...cheers
