Poem -

WHO IS CONFUSION?

Seeing the happiness
I view a loving heart
Closing the bitterness
I want a better life

Who was the liar?
Who was deceitful?
Who was the phony?
What was being hid?

For days and months
And hours and seconds
It remained a race
Between the girls and ladies

Though they were never friends
They never played as enemies
Somehow now, things are better
And a lot is clearer

I can look through all
And see no stain
I feel secure
There's not one stench

The garments are pure
And coloured with love
The palms are pretty
And their invite strikes much

I'd take it still
For as I look
I see happiness
And desire love's place

As new days begin
And the sun sets
The moon strolls in quickly
And love is dead again

What's this bruhaha?
Who is confusion?
Their places have remained
And their hearts: ugly

Though I once saw happiness
I now see pockets of sham
There's really no love there
It's all a bitter life
And i was surely mistaken.
