WHO IS TO BLAME?

WHO IS TO BLAME?

Man dead by lethal injection...

The Government doesn't want us to know the fails...

The story goes 33 years on death row for the rape and murder of Paula Dyer who was 7 years old in 1985...

The man was mentally ill...

The family brought him to live...

The day of the crime the dad of the girl gave this man some beers and he wanted to hitchhike to another town...

He was a little off that day according to the mother...

The dad said he needed him to babysit the children...

Five all together...

Because, the parents had to work...

The mother phoned the dad to have him go home because, something wasn't right...

The usual babysitter wasn't available to watch them that night...

The dad said he couldn't, he had something he had to do...

The man called, that the girl was unconscious...

The dad went home and the girl died from asphyxiation...

The family is traumatized from the crime...

A sick man is dead as he was put in charge...

Everyone hopes he rots in hell...

โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹They watched through the window of the prison and they got closure...

I hope if the same one to put him in hell isn't the same to judge it all...

Who is to blame?

Hugs...

This is a tough one Sparrowsong. Fair enough he was mentally ill, but how would you feel if you were the parents?

Food for thought.

Hello Syd...

I would have called out of work...

โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹Family first, that's what I would do not knowing is one thing and I certainly wouldn't provide alcohol...

โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹Someone says they have to get away umm...

I wouldn't make them stay...

Obviously, you're right not everyone thinks that way...

I couldn't put someone to death if I had some responsibility also...

I would have carried the blame all the way as a Mother...

I would have had them lock me up for my own stupidity...

Thank you for your comment and support!

Hello Terry Kay...

Only God knows in the end, that's right...

Not everyone believes that but, He does too much in my life for good even in the bad so I am always thankful that He's got me...

Ok, it seems reality passed me by with this "story". I retract my previous comment of "cool" , obviously. That being said I do admire the artistic license you have used โ˜บ

Hello Tina...

The child wasn't sick...

I agree that he was guilty, he did confess and he called the dad and he was able to come home then...

I wouldn't want him sitting in jail for years and being supported, either...

As a parent who failed as a parent that would be seen as child endangerment at the very least in other States I had lived in...

You never really know who you think are safe around your kids that's scary in itself and can be very heartbreaking if they're not...

To me knowing something's not right and leaving that person in charge, that to me is something else...

I would have lost all my children and I wouldn't have been able to get them back...

My Brother was mentally ill, I never left him alone with my children and he was my Brother and he wasn't always ill and he had a child of his own...

When he wasn't right he didn't get her alone either...

I made sure of that...

A lot of people I know, he wouldn't have even made it to Court because, they would have lost it...

They could have faced the same fate...

Thank you for your kind comment and support my friend!

Hugs...

Hello Sis Cherie...

To put a person in prison for life costs the tax payers to support them...

We certainly don't want to put an innocent person to death...

Of course, they shouldn't be there to begin with never mind serving decades for them to lose family, job, home and everything...

There's no simple solution but, when there's reasons to rightfully charge and people feel sorry for victims, they should take it all into account...

In cases like this when it was preventable, it makes me sick...

People have gave money to the victims, the killer had saved a couple of their children from a house fire prior to this...

But, there comes a point when a person is showing signs or saying something that's out of sorts you give him beers and let him watch your kids?

Maybe, I'm just wrong but, he wouldn't be watching mine...

He had watched their children before, but he was certainly not right on this day...

It was noticed and noted by the parents...

He wanted to leave and the dad stopped him...

Then he wouldn't leave his job when his wife was worried...

โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹But, she couldn't get home either?

I'm sorry, I know they needed the money but, a days wage doesn't come close to the lives of children...

They suffered all these years, I don't think they should have had to suffer at all...

They all made their decisions and this was the result...

I wouldn't have been able to choose death especially, if I too was at fault...

It doesn't change anything, or does it?

Thank you for your kind comment and support!

GREG TUCKER THE...

Very powerful write.ย  Since I was a Lieutenant in the prison system, I have mixed feelings.ย  You see many people who are obviously mentally ill and do not know right from wrong.ย  They should be put in a mental institution.ย  On the flip side, there are so many who fake being ill, and are just plain evil.ย  It is hard to understand if this man was mentally ill, why in the world would they have him babysit.ย  People are crazy.ย  Thank you for sharing

Hello Greg...

Whether someone is mentally ill or not the parents have the responsibility of the well being of their children first...

Sometimes, we just don't know and we can think everyone is capable of wrong...

When everything is in front of you and say okay...

You have given the license to the situation...

I don't have mixed feelings, I believe that was just a bad deal for the children when it had been discussed prior to him having full and complete access to the children...

Many don't say a word and they appear fine...

Tragedy does happen...

He said something and so to me they allowed it in their home...

He didn't have to stop with the girl and he did...

He had plenty of time to do whatever he wanted too...

He could of killed them all and he would serve so much time but, he could only be killed once...

That girl had to know her parents weren't there to protect her and they let it happen...

If it was me, that's what I would have been thinking the whole time...

Thank you for your kind comment and support!

Hugs...
