Poem -

Who you married.

It wasn't him

Who you married.

You married me. Not him, not that lazy human being that was full of sin. You married a man that loved you and always put you first, not that man that ignored you and treated you like dirt.

The man you married was kind and had a warm heart. Not one that was corrupted and torn apart. A man that liked seeing you and made you smile. Not one who made you lock yourself away for a while.

That man is making changes even if you don't see. He's trying to right his wrongs, be the best he can be. He hope you meet again be another seven years or one, then I hope you're proud of what I have become.

Love the twist in this Matthew and also the courage expressed because we all know it takes courage to admit our wrongs. Good write x
