Why could you never be Absent for a class photo

You were gone.

I was meant to be free, but i saw your name in an old school photo, and another from a year before that. 

Then another from the year you touched my face in the rain, and the last photo from the year we sat on a swing-set for hours,away from the others.

These photos, from the times i fell so deeply in love with you.

Oh god, did i want to burn those photos.

Because i will never be able to burn those memories
