WHY DOES IT ALWAYS RAIN ON THURSDAY ?

Monday Tuesday Wednesday have all now passed 
Friday means the weekend will come at last 
However one day always seem to get in the way 
Why does it always rain on Thursday ? 

The weeks get round the older you seem to get 
An old wives tale but it's a sure fire bet 
I look towards the sky and its turning dark grey
Why does it always rain on Thursday? 

So far my week has been running nice and smooth
Worked hard as usual with nothing else to prove
