Why I Love Summer

The sun is out it’s time for fun

No school, no more studying to do

I might go for short walks or a long run

Jump in the air or watch the beautiful view

Everyone is happy the weather feels perfect

The wise learn lessons and capture the essence

Life is too short to live in hate and regret

When hours feel like minutes, minutes feel like seconds

There is no time to waste when you’re living in the moment

Hanging out just chilling, working on some surfboarding

Set your goals straight it’s the best season to get focused

Otherwise the bees and the birds wouldn’t be buzzing and chirping

They say every summer has a story to unravel

I want to make my summer a bestselling novel
