Why I Run

Today I Ran
I ran till my heart broke,
I kept running till my heart died.
Only to keep running to calm the fear,
Of the constant pain and Regret, I constantly hear.
I continued running till my heart revived,
Instilling the pride once lost, to again become alive.
Today I ran for memories long been forgotten.
Today, I ran for me.
