Poem -

Why Me?

Why did you let me fall in love with you and have your son?

You always seem to choose me when the day was done;
in which all I ever wanted was to be the one.

Why did you choose me?

You taught me to soar like a dove and not to run from love;
and yet you flew away from me bragging about Heaven above.

Why did you choose me?

Why me?

Why not someone else?

Why me this cold evening?

Why me?

But I will let you know;
it is better to have found some type of love-
then to ever have lost.

One more question before I go;
my love.

Why me?
