Wicked Fun!

Once upon a shining green moon
the air cackled with a wicked presume
Awakening a mischief for witches to know
and all that were scary could now be on show

Inspiring a naughty young witch with a spell
to cast on small children for her tricks to befell
stirring a potion while chanting each word
to send through the air to the wicked be heard

Then on a said night out they'd go to fulfil
all her desired trickery in disguises to chill
Though spooky and scary but mainly just fun
this would become a yearly all horror appreciation 

As pumpkins with scary faces enhance the ambience
plus spiders to dangle in cobwebs for a shock at first glance 
Large black bats and vampires with false fangs in wait
to inspire loud squeals from each small reprobate

Then to double the scares of all small and tall too
add fake blood and talons for a nightmare come true
Loudly knocking on each door to speak "Trick or Treat"
all for the experience of a Wicked fun fright complete

Though cleverly there's an antidote sure to abate
to cancel all hostility and keep everyone a mate
The young witch thought of an appropriate treat
just give goodies and chocolate for trickery to beat

So as this Witch's Eve ascends with wicked glee
protect all the faint hearted that scare too easily
Tell them to stay indoors be quiet and unseen
or they could just be brave open the door and shout
                                  
                                                                                "Happy Hallowe'eeen!!
