Wildness in wintertime 💨🌬

I love the sound of a winter’s night

As I am tucked up amidst my haven snuggled so tight

Though I feel for our feathered friends and I hope that they’re alright

Asleep in their nests in the trees up aheight
                               ~
And God bless our animals as they forage for food

To feed and nourish all of their brood

I realise winter’s wrath must hinder their mood

But wildness in wintertime is not misunderstood
                               ~
So whistle your wailing with gusto and speed

Mother nature’s changeable, phenomenal decreed

She is a master of mysteriousness with her uncertanties indeed

As she blows my weather vane her frustration is freed...
