Will You?

Will You?

Will you listen to the stories
Behind her saddened eyes?
Trying to understand the pain
Of every tears she cries?

Telling her she's beautiful
When she just got out of bed?
Fighting off the demons
That lay inside her head?

Knowing that she'll never trust…
In the kind things you may say.
Then looking her straight in the eyes,
To say them anyway.

To convince her of the beauty,
That your loving eyes can see.
Telling her that you don't need wings
To truly be set free.

To you, is she a heavenly angel?
Who you’d walk with mile-by-mile.
For whom you’d risk your everything
Just to make her smile?
