Will You?

Will You?

Will you be you when I need you?
I’m fragments pieced together
The essence of my being is broken
Every tear of mine is blood-stained
Every move of mine is removed like stains
It goes wrong anytime I try being strong
I gave up on going up
I’ve been a burden on what’s left of others
Forsaken I’m for this sake
Can you carry me along on your way?
Can your back perpetually support my weight?
I break anytime my weakness breaks others
The fracture lines have become one too many
Leave me alone if you can’t help me live
Liability seems to be what is left of my abilities
I’m fed up of having my load carried halfway
When I drag you behind, will you keep that smile?
I’ve been hated for hurting
Neglected for my needs
I’ve seen these scenes before
Rose petals withering in the face of winter
Can you be with me when I continue being me?
Or you will be just as all have always been?
