ONCE UPON A TIME
Once upon a time, a love bloomed bright,
A turquoise stream and an emerald tree, entwined in light.
Years danced by, their bond a verdant embrace,
But time can shift, and leave an altered space.

The stream, once full, felt its waters recede,
The tree, once strong, now faced a barren need.
Yet, from their love, a marvel did arise,
A desert bloom, with hope in its bright eyes.

For I, the oasis, stand where love once flowed,
A testament to strength,
on barren ground I've showed.
My roots run deep,
where river and tree entwined,
A legacy of love, a spirit I will find.
