Poem -

Wind

Wind whispers through one’s ears
Like a melodic roar,
Gentle yet fierce,
Like a mother embracing her newborn child.
Cold yet warm,
Like one’s eyes,
at times of life.

Wind whips at the passing lady’s dress
Flapping her satin, grasping her lace.
Like a greedy man gripping his riches.

When the weather is not likeable,
wind roars like a beast,
a tiger,
enraged at its prey
Yearning its catch.
