Window Pain/Honey Dew Eyes

Should I leave out of the country
The flowers they love me
The trees they hug meĀ
Only one to judge is above meĀ
Water speaks to meĀ
As do the whispers of the sea
There's no place I'd rather beĀ
Humming sweet sunshineĀ
Of rainbows on my window sill
Sit still
Think a lil
Got too many thoughts on my mindĀ
Get thee behind meĀ
I only want to prosper
In the raindrops and honey dew of my eyesĀ
Smoke fogs my epitome
That I thought would be
What I thought thee were
Once upon a tale
You once wished me well
But my vision as failed
So now I am only left hereĀ
In a memory of what was there
So should I leave the country
Though the sky is above meĀ
You're no longer here to love meĀ
So I'd rather sit stillĀ
Think a lilĀ
And watch my memory fade from me
Humming sweet sunshineĀ
From my window sill
Even though the rain still speaks to meĀ
I know you'll come back to meĀ
I only want to prosper
In the raindrops and honeydew of my eyes.Ā

Thank you Phillip. It amazes me that people draw inspiration through my work. I am very glad that you could relate to it. It's one of he many reasons I started to write poetry. Thank you for the kind words :)
