Wings
majestic breaths
as serenity
overflows
wrap me
in your
angel wings
embrace me
in your love
of gold
saturate the
mind
with your
calming peace
keep my spirit
humble
heal the
wounded heart
place your
wings around me
when all seems
to unravel
and slowly
crumble
be my
guardian
protector of
raging storms
carry, calm
and soothe
consume
me with your
protective love
keep my
heart clean
and anew
to have a
continuous
forgiving heart
wrapped in grace
and mercy
is my plea
my soul cries
with a worshipping
spirit
please cover
and forever
carry me
inside the
depth of
your wings
