Wings of Love (Haiku)

Softest white feathers

Cover chicks grey downy heads

Giving protection.

 

Threatening talons

Or poachers cannot come close

Mother spreads her wings.

 

Beneath her shadow

Cygnets stay safe and secure

Snuggled together.
