Winter

Winter

I’m just preparing for a winter alone
The cold sets in and the grass won’t grow
The days get short and the nights are long
With no one to talk to and no where to go
I wonder what happened to our once happy home
Suddenly our love was up and gone
I’m getting ready to live life alone
Material things are all that I own
Well I better get started
Somehow I’m just left feeling ashamed
All I can do is accept the blame
For me being broken hearted
