Winter

Winter

Mother Nature grips the earth
With icy hands.
The land is bare
And empty.

The only sound
Is the wind,
Whipping through the
Silent dead trees.

Animals flee underground
For warmth and
Shelter for a long time.

Winter is here.

Rebecca Payne,

Good verse on nature, thanks for sharing

Mother Nature grips the earth
With icy hands.
The land is bare
And empty.
