Poem -

Winter Come Again

Today it started
Summer has departed
The smell of the heater
Warming up the house

Mittens, scarfs and beanies
No more bikinis
Where I can cuddle up
And drink my soup in a cup

When my friends come together
We'll complain about the weather
Every single day
and the sky turns to grey

The flu will come around
Leaving everyone in this town
Coughing and unable to breathe
Oh, the cold I seethe

My body will shiver
My lip will quiver
But I hold my jacket tight
So I'll be right

I've never seen snowfall
But don't dismiss our winter
Melbourne all in all
Is a bipolar piece of shit
