Winter Poem In Spring!

Snow falls in a flurry,
A frantic free-for-all fall
Like abandoned confetti at a wedding,
The greenery of coarse grass,
Unkempt moss on old bark
Stands smothered with a blanket of snow bedding!
Â
Wildlife scurries rather worried
Perplexed by the flakes,
Interrupted in their hunt for needed food,
Indisposed by snow`s arrival
Hindering their survival
As they flee erratically for refuge!
Â
A sinister silence in the forest;
A tranquil scene,
Delicate flakes drifting gently, casually,
A mass of pure-white parachutes descending lazily,
An overhead invasion;
Winter`s supremacy!
Â
Snow continues to devour
The vulnerable wood,
A decorative covering for the trees,
Water for the earth
When the freeze has dispersed,
Bare branches will revive fresh leaves!

You've painted a scene in words. Snow brings such an eerie silence, doesn't it!
