A Winter Sky Blue

It bubbles, it pours, it roars with rage,

In every letter jotted down on this page.

The sun will rise and at night it will set,

Memories are locked up in case I forget.

The smiles are passed through the tops of tress,

And pride is whispered dancing in the breeze.

Whilst the sea holds the secrets thrashing on the tide,

The glances and support show there’s nothing to hide.

Although we’re hurting and angry at life,

And the pain ripped through us like a sharp knife.

We all know too well that life can pass us by,

As it steals from us the twinkle in our eyes.

We all soon learn that living life can be tough,

And loving each other should be enough.

But when days leave you feeling a winter sky blue,

And you feel inside there’s nothing that you can do.

Remember those who love you and show you they care,

As happiness is contagious as it carries through the air.

So spread what joy there is to be had,

As great memories can fade away all that is bad.

Just think of all the good times and the best yet to come,

And remember that it’s always ok to have lots of fun.
