Winter walk

The sun warm my skin,
Fresh air drive my blood.

Winter walks easing nerves

Tugged at me like darker thoughts.

The girl in the shop

I bought my bottle from

Had not a clue of what a Spice girl

   was.

But she had the platform shoes

From Spain;

The absent effect of rain.

I was going to be okey.

Here I feel the loneliness of vacant everyday interactions though the narrator wins out... almost allowing himself superiority over the girl who knows nothing

'The absent effect of rain.'

Great line R x

Being Me

A casual type of meeting that runs deep. Very deep. This poem says so much. It reminds me how things are cyclical... all things (well, perhaps not all) ... the mood, the seasons, even the fashion. Great poem!
