Poem -

winters constant rain

My heart travels lightly
These days, though it falls heavy
Come the lonely hours remembering him,

Just to watch his eye's open and closing
The inhale and exhale of his breath
My heart bears heaviest
In death,

For he is gone from this life
In a space I long
To breathe,

Believing I'll see that smile again
In the midst of winters
constant rain,

The healing of my heart again
To bathe thee forever naked
Taking away the pain

Once In death United
Our souls are sealed again.
