Poem -
Wishes
āFingers are crossed for Christmas snow,
Cranberry kisses beneath mistletoe.
Presents trussed under a plastic pine,
A fridge full of food and too much wine.
A friend with benefits dressed as an elf,
Cards from well-wishers filling a shelf.
Midnight Mass with a kindly stranger,
And the age old story of a baby in a manger.ā
