Poem -

Wishing Well

Who is the boy at the Wishing Well?
The one who never sleeps
For fear of losing the few items he keeps
The one who never eats enough
Whose life must be truly rough
The one never invited to play
For the others tell him to go away
The one that never sheds a tear
Too often petrified in fear
The one with hardly any clothes
With no protection for his toes
The one who is all alone
Who calls the Wishing Well his home
