Within The Reverie Of You
I lay between dreams
Find your face within the seams
Where minds eyes spy
To try and bridge the space we find
Reams of iridescent beams
Streams your energy-
Gently on my face
So I may hint at the taste of you
You so far
Yet near
Whisper in my wanting ear
Where so many longing thoughts
Rest in tears of anguished taunts...
Which bring me no warmth
I sink into your radiant hue
With a means to forget
Tread within the reverie of your light
And rid my thoughts of waking life

Oh...I so understand every word you write Gwen...deep in my soul. What a beautiful expressive write of the gift of 'sensing' which ultimately just adds to the missing and brings only a second of comfort in an eternity of longing.
