WITHOUT MY CONSENT

MOTHERS WISH

WITHOUT MY CONSENT

I was told to walk away
And don't look back
But my heart was tied to yours

And even though
I follow the voice of my mother
Your beauty I could not get over

You entered my world
And the sun began to shine
It was short lived
But you brought stability
To my unstable mind

The years has passed
And my love for you
Remains the same
Never did a day passed by
Without me calling your name

I was told that you live in the North
And I am in Rome
We are both married to another
With families of our own

But as much as I love her
And call her my wife
Deep within my heart
I call you my life.
