Without you 

 

If Gods were real,

They would be the only other ones,

That without you,

They know,

How i truly feel. 

Since you and your kids came along,

And simply your elegant beauty,

Inside and out,

With Looks to kill.

You’ve made my simplistic life,

Seem completely surreal.

My kids love you all too,

It’s like a fantastical world you have us in,

So unreal!

This poem is what my life would be like,

Without you,

The main driving force,

Behind my new lifes’ wheel!

 

Without you,

Life would never be the same.

Without you,

I would have no good endorphins,

Keeping out my pain.

Without you.

 

When I’m without you I miss you so much.

Just with you not being here,

I miss your tender touch.

Without you i’m unstable,

As if you’re my life holding crutch.

Supporting me in life,

Touching my heart in places,

Previously left untouched.

 

Without you time seems to slow down.

Making the missing you feeling,

Like I’m underwater gasping,

As I slowly drown.

To then be saved again,

By the mere thought of you,

Clasping lips with mine,

In your dressing gown.

 

Without you,

When I’m home with my 3 boys asleep,

I wish I was with you,

Downstairs,

Just chatting and watching a film or t.v.

Instead of being on my own,

Letting my eyes wetten,

from my eyelids,

 underneath.

 

Without you my life seems so bleak.

Without you here,

My body feels weak.

Without you here....

 

Without you here,

I can’t sleep,

I can’t eat.

I can’t stop thinking,

About the next time we meet.

Without you here....

 

Without you here I’m just not quite as happy.

As without you,

I feel only half a chap,

Now can’t you see?

Without you here....

 

Nights apart,

Home,

Seemingly alone.

Just you in my thoughts,

As the endless night roams.

Whenever I’m not with you,

I feel like bag,

Rag and bones.

When you return,

Then happiness I hone.

I just hate being here without you,

Alone in my head,

Heart and home.

 

Without you I feel completely insane,

I’ve never had a woman ever like this,

Enter my brain.

All I know is,

That being with you,

Is when I’m completely sane.

You’ve mended a heart,

I thought was forever slain.

And it's only when I’m with you,

I feel I’m starting to live again.

You invigorate and enthral me,

In so many ways.

I’ll never be without you,

For the rest of my days!
