Poem -

Wolfman Jack

Wolfman Jack

I remember
the sound
of your voice

something that
has kept
along the years

the memories
remind
me
of the age
of
innocence

not wanting
not worrying
about the
outcome
of tomorrow

You had
a raspy
voice
and you
appeared
like a gangsta
of sorts

yet your audience
were always
hypnotized
by
how you captured
the moment
of time
that we
were
living

Not sure
when

figured
out
that
you had
passed
but
I do
remember
thinking
my innocence
of who
I am
where the
world
was evolving
into
and what I was becoming
left
the studio room
with you
