Wonder

Its been fifty long years, I say.
I have wrote every single day.
The reviews I get aren't, always the best.
I really keep trying, for the love of success.
Writing about nature and of course there are fictional things.
The most amazing I have done, are inspirational wings.
I write about my feelings to help me cope.
Most of the time. it is to help others have hope.
I have wrote many short stories that once published, raised money for a cure.
As I get older, I question my writing and I am not always sure.

I think getting old makes you wonder all the time.
Did I pay the cashier with a nickel or a dime?
So if my writing keeps going the way it's been.
I might have to talk to myself and get rather mean.
I say at times, this is it I have had enough, I am giving it up.
Waiting for a while, I am right back at it, sipping from my cup.
A lesson I have learned, learning really fast.
What ever is your passion, you work hard and you make it last.

So as I have written this poem, singing all the way.
