Wondering Eye

I think it's cool to catch you watching me on the sly, to see you peeking at me out the corner of your eye when I walk bye. I think its cute in a secret crush kind of way, so I'll put a little swish in my hips and a bounce in my step, maybe that will give you a little help to say hello, I'm digging you or you've got me feeling some type of way, maybe we could grab a bite to eat and split the pay. I'm not suggesting we go dutch because I don't wear wooden shoes, but I'd appreciate it if you made me feel special like Billy D did Diana Ross in Lady sings the blues. But you never say anything just a smile or a glance, but I'm thinking if given the chance you might say hello, I'm digging you or you've got me feeling some type of way,  we should go for a walk on a warm summer's day. We could see a movie or catch a show there are plenty of places two new friends can go. We could sit on a park bench and watch the cars go bye, holding hands watching the stars as they twinkle in the sky, but you never say anything you're just a wondering eye, but it's cool when i catch you peeking at me out the corner of your eye.
