ELOQUENT WORDS
The beauty of your written words
Became art, my eyes could see
Words expressed with feeling
Allowed my mind to run free
Poetic words of passion
Expressed what you couldn't say
You couldn't have told or showed me
In a more eloquent, powerful way
Upon the parchment of my heart
Your words became a song
The musical notes leaped off the page
As it played in my mind all day long
Words etched with indelible ink
Forever tattooed on my heart
I may forget the things you say
But your words will never part
