WORDS OF HONESTY

               On August 12, 2011. A Family friend posted these words on my Facebook page.  
   
           “The more you try to figure out what is going on in your life the more confused you will be God will give you Clarity when the time is right and while you wait you have the privilege of trusting him”. 
          On August 12, 2017. I opened my Facebook page and saw it once again. While reading, I felt a bit of hope, a little faith, just enough to bandage my bruise. Struggling to find my way lost on the highway, I made a “U-turn” on the wrong road, I have been lost ever since, the signs are faded, my navigation keeps searching, my battery is low and my charger doesn’t work anymore. Stopped by a gas station, cash only, “any ATM around?” debit card declined, citizen’s trying to help, they speak a different language I don’t understand please slow down.
                                I reach out! they listen, but they don’t understand.
                                 They say, “We understand” no not my language.
                                         They say, “You need to! You must!
                                      This is too much. All demands “to drive.”
                                   I asked, “with what are you contributing gas?
Encourage me, up lift me, Words of wisdom, Show me joy, not of demands.  Help me find my way don’t make me. Show me signs, share your signal, encouraging words of love. I got lost suturing my growing pain, a moment to grieve to breathe hoping to be heal one day. Words like hers lift me up.
