Work Schedule

September 6th left
Grand Rapids, Michigan
with a coworker  who
also is my good friend
at 11am
Headed to
Plymouth, Indiana
arrived at 2PM
Loaded up work items
along with fresh clothes
Departed by 2:45pm
headed to a college town
Manhattan, Kansas
it was a 10.5 hour drive
We stopped only for gas
and arrived to destination
at 2:30am, we did switch
into a different time zone
It's now September 7th
and we start work at
8:45am  sharp
After checking into
the hotel and unpacking
we are able to
get a couple of hours
of much needed sleep
horizontally
From the 7th until the 12th
we work 12 hour days
It's now September 13th
and we finally get paid
Last minute call
from a marketing company
" we need you guys bad "
Our event starts on the 14th, setup will be at 4PM
in Spokane, Washington
We will arrive in Indiana
back at my place
at 2:45am
Only to repack my things
and head back up to
Grand Rapids, Michigan
arriving by 5:45am
to my coworker's home
so he can repack as well
Then we both will take
a couple hour nap
before grabbing a cab
to head to the airport
Departure 9am
from Grand Rapids airport
landing a couple hours later
in Denver, Colorado with only
a 15 minute layover
before reboarding
another plane
headed to Spokane, Washington
arrival 1:00pm sharp
This is going on my
9th year of doing this job
to some this may seem crazy
but to me it's quite normal
