Worrying
- Puffing in the wind
By an unknown Chinese student in 2022(?)
Translated by Yiyan Han (c), last modified 2023-05-12
Puffing on the balcony
Half inhaled and half blown away,
With the wind over this, I won't be bickering
Knowing it's also got its own worrying.
Footnote:
- The image shows the original writing by anΒ unknown student posted on internet and it's marked with the rating of 5+ presumably by the student's teacher.
- The translator doesn't promote smoking what so ever, but like translating a good poem.

Thank you for sharing this little puzzle. Though I am professionally involved with some 85 Chinese clients (am a bookkeeper for small businesses) alas I still do not speak Mandarin nor can read charactersπ
Thanks John for letting me know. It's rather difficult to learn how to write in Chinese, and think you can say something like "ni hao ma?" ;)Β Cheers.
My problem with Manadrin is that I am a bit deaf, so much so that I cannot pick up on the inflections and therefore will make too many mistakes. Luckily most of my clients speak enough Dutch (or the children were born here)... I would not want to inadvertently insult somebody π€£ Still the writing in characters is beautifulΒ
I stared for a moment at the Chinese characters
wondering what is hidden there...
and then the miracle happens
and the english characters emerged
thanks to Yiyan Han.
Fantastic, dear friend!
