Worthwhile

Worthwhile

Her soft smooth lips, her eyes so bright

Amazing smile, makes my life worthwhile

She's the one I love, she's like an angel from above

Loving her is easy but loving me isn't right

We are two different people, our cultures collide

It could be the color of my skin isn't just right

Her family is committed to one faith, one belief

No brighter the horizon, I only feel defeat

Free me from this torment I hold deep inside my mind

I hide in my room like it's a fort aching with a broken heart

Please come back and smile, to make my life worthwhile

It's tearing me apart
