Poem -

Would I?

Do they know I still cry myself to sleep?
Battling these insicurities?
Dreaming their words
Alone in my head
Now it doesn't matter
What anyone says
If I could change
What happened then,
Would I still
Be who I am?
If their words didn't hunt me as I sleep
If I didn't wonder
about life without me
Could I still change people for the better?

So much to ask, so much to wonder, for the special few, youth is a trial by fire. For the few that survive, the world is magic.
i think you are a survivor a poetic one
your poem was well expressed and thought provoking I enjoyed it.
