Poem -

writer's block

writer's block

stuck in my own thoughts
just locked away somewhere
inside maybe floating around
in the spaces of my mind.

the words are there
but it just won't come out.
seems like it's a lingering 
endlessly 
needed to be captured and placed
on a canvas of a blank page
blasted from one end of a page to the other.

at the moment
the words are held captive of other things
like life, work or anything that is blocking my progress.
maybe in the next 80-something words
will become clear and clear to me
as i sit  just try thinking the words to say......
