Poem -

Years Drag On

As life goes on
The days become longer
The sun becomes bigger
The nights become darker
The moon becomes smaller
And the years drag on

As time goes on
The seconds become minutes
The minutes become hours
The hours become days
And the years drag on

As people age
The body becomes weaker
The mind becomes thicker
The heart becomes broken
And the years drag on

Every life, every time, and every person
Spends eternity trying to become stronger
But with the obstacles we face in life
The years drag on
