Yesterday

Yesterday

Inspired by Deborah Evans’ poem “Lived, Laughed, Loved”

We peer into these mirrored pools of our life

Where reflections of our past are recreated

How has time passed by so quickly?

Fleeting moments in the longevity of our Universe

What seems like just yesterday, we were young

So filled with dreams and aspirations

Yet now, whether they came true or not

We can never recapture our youth

We now are living the tail end of our lives

Oh to have the power to relive them and know what we know today

But, alas, here we are

Still children, trapped in these antiquated bodies

Hi Mick,

As we reach our Golden Years, age is but a number.  As you say, may we all stay "young at heart".

Peace and Love,

Hi Sweet Rose,

It is nice to see a person of the younger generation who can understand what the Golden Years mean.  Relish every day of your youth, for someday you will look back and wonder where time has gone.

All my love,

Daddio xxx

Hi Dear Debs,

These words were only written because of the inspiration I received from your beautiful poem.  You laid the foundation, I merely expounded upon it.

Hugs, Peace and Love,
